Arizona State Football Announces 2025 Schedule

The 2024 Arizona State Football season came to a close at the Peach Bowl Quarterfinal Playoff game in early January after bringing fans explosive plays, electric atmospheres and endearing players and coaches.

The 2025 season schedule has been announced leaving fans excited about the upcoming football season.

The Sun Devils had an impressive season with success that they hope will carry over to the next season. Arizona State’s football team will have three games to get prepared for conference play before a nine game stretch of Big 12 conference matchups. Three of the biggest games this upcoming season are rematches from last year.

Last season, the 3-0 Sun Devils marched into Lubbock, Texas and drew a crowd of more than 58,000 people when they faced Texas Tech. The game ended in a 30-22 loss for the Sun Devils, but that should serve as motivation for the rematch at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe, Arizona on Oct. 18, 2025.

The next rematch on the Sun Devils schedule is against Iowa State on Nov. 1, 2025. Arizona State played against Iowa State in the Big 12 Championship in front of a crowd of more than 55,000 people in Arlington, Texas. The Sun Devils secured a 45-19 victory and advanced to the College Football Playoffs. This year the rematch will be played in Iowa State’s Jack Trice Stadium which can seat 61,500 people.

Arizona State Football’s last rematch against the University of Arizona is played every season by these two rival teams. This year the Territorial Cup will be played on Nov. 28 or 29. The University of Arizona will look to get revenge after being defeated 49-7 by the Sun Devils last year. They may have to wait for quite some time as Arizona State seems poised to dominate the football scene for the near foreseeable future.
